Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Palermo, head to the central bus station, 'Stazione Centrale.' You can take the bus lines that head towards Alcamo. The SAIS Autolinee company operates buses to Alcamo. Purchase your ticket at the ticket office or from the vending machine. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Alcamo bus station, exit the station and look for the local bus service (AST) that goes to Calatubo or ask locals for direction to the beach. The beach is about 4 km from the Alcamo bus station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the bus station directly to Spiaggia Calatubo.

  • Train and Bus Combination

    Travel to the 'Palermo Centrale' train station and take a train heading towards Trapani. Get off at 'Alcamo Diramazione' station (approximately a 1-hour ride). From there, exit the station and catch a local bus heading towards Alcamo Marina or directly to the beach area. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. You may also opt for a taxi from the train station for convenience.
