Car
If you're driving to Castello del Valentino, start on the A55 motorway and take the exit towards Corso Unione Sovietica. Continue on Corso Unione Sovietica until you reach the junction with Corso Massimo D'Azeglio. Turn left onto Corso Massimo D'Azeglio and follow it until you reach Viale Pier Andrea Mattioli. The castle will be on your right at number 39. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check local signs for parking regulations.

To reach Castello del Valentino via public transport, take the Metro Line 1 to the 'Porta Nuova' station. From there, exit the station and take bus number 18 from the nearby bus stop. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Viale Pier Andrea Mattioli' stop. The Castello del Valentino will be a short walk ahead, located at number 39. Alternatively, you can take tram line 9 from 'Porta Nuova' which will take you directly to the castle area.
