Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Pisa Central Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto Via Francesco Crispi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Turn right onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini and follow it until you reach Piazza dei Cavalieri. From there, continue straight onto Via della Faggiola, which will lead you to the riverbank. Cross the river using the Ponte di Mezzo, and once you are on the other side, turn left onto Lungarno Pacinotti. Follow this road, and then turn right onto Via Santa Maria. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Duomo, where you will find the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa.

    From the Pisa Central Train Station, you can take the LAM Rossa bus towards 'Cimitero' or 'Torre'. Board the bus at the stop right outside the station. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Piazza del Duomo' stop.
