If you're starting from the Pisa Centrale train station, exit the station and head towards Via Francesco Crispi. Walk straight along this road until you reach Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue straight, passing through the pedestrian area, which is lined with shops and cafes. As you approach the end of the street, you will see a large archway. Go through this arch and continue straight until you reach the river Arno. Cross the Ponte di Mezzo bridge. Once you’re on the other side, turn left along the riverbank. Continue walking along the river until you reach the Ponte Solferino bridge. Cross this bridge and continue straight along the Via Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa. This road will take you towards the historical center. You will eventually reach the walls of the old city. Continue walking towards the north, and you will see the tall, white marble structure of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Follow the signs to Piazza dei Miracoli, which is just a short distance away.

From Pisa Centrale train station, you can take bus number 21 towards 'Pisa - Ospedale' or 'Pisa - San Rossore'. The bus stop is located right outside the station.
