Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Leaning Tower of Pisa, head northeast on Piazza dei Miracoli towards Via Santa Maria. Continue straight along Via Santa Maria until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will arrive at Ponte di Mezzo, which will be on your right side.

From the Pisa Centrale train station, exit the station and find the bus stop located just outside. Take bus line LAM Rossa towards 'Pisa - Aeroporto'. Get off at the 'Ponte di Mezzo' stop, which is approximately 5 stops away. After disembarking, you will see the bridge directly ahead.

If you prefer to rent a bicycle, you can do so from one of the many rental shops near the Leaning Tower. Once you have your bike, head towards Viale delle Piagge, which leads directly to the river. Continue along the river path until you reach the Ponte di Mezzo. The journey is scenic and takes about 15-20 minutes.
