Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the main entrance of the Pompeii Archaeological Park. Head east on Via Plinio towards Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn right onto Via dell'Abbondanza and walk for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by various shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the end of Via dell'Abbondanza, turn left onto Via Roma. Continue walking until you reach the main train station, Stazione di Pompei. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento and get off at Ercolano Scavi station. Exit the station and head northeast on Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. Casa del Bicentenario will be on your left after a short walk.

    From the Pompeii Archaeological Park, walk to the nearby Stazione di Pompei. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at Ercolano Scavi station. After exiting the train, turn left and walk northeast on Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. Casa del Bicentenario will be located on your left side, just a short walk from the station.
