    Getting There

    Walking

    From the main entrance of the Pompeii archaeological site, head towards the exit of the site. Once you exit, turn left onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Keep walking straight for about 200 meters until you reach the Pompeii train station (Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri). From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Napoli Centrale station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Metro Line 1, direction Piscinola. Get off at the Toledo station, which is about 4 stops from Napoli Centrale. After exiting the Toledo station, take the stairs or escalators up to the street level. Then, walk straight along Via Toledo towards the waterfront for about 10 minutes until you reach Via Vittorio Emanuele III where Castel Nuovo is located.

    Public Transport

    From the Pompeii archaeological site, walk to the Pompeii train station (Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri). Purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Napoli Centrale, exit the train and walk to the Metro Line 1. Take the Metro towards Piscinola and get off at Toledo station. After exiting the station, walk straight along Via Toledo for about 10 minutes. You will reach Castel Nuovo at Via Vittorio Emanuele III.
