Walking
If you are starting from the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, head straight through the main gate (Porta Marina). Once inside the site, walk along the Via Villa dei Misteri, passing the Forum on your right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection of Via degli Augustali. Turn left onto Via degli Augustali, and you will arrive at the Macellum located at Via degli Augustali, 12. The Macellum is a large open-air market, and you will recognize it by its remains of ancient structures.
Walking
From the Amphitheater of Pompeii, exit the amphitheater and head southeast towards Via Villa dei Misteri. Turn left onto Via Villa dei Misteri and walk towards the Forum. Once you reach the Forum, take a right and follow the path until you reach the intersection with Via degli Augustali. Turn left onto Via degli Augustali, and the Macellum will be on your left at Via degli Augustali, 12.
Walking
If you are near the Temple of Apollo, walk south towards the Forum. Once you reach the Forum, head west until you find Via degli Augustali. Turn right onto Via degli Augustali and continue walking until you reach the Macellum at Via degli Augustali, 12.
