Walking
If you are in the center of Pompeii, begin at the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance (Porta Marina). From there, head south on Via Villa dei Misteri until you reach the intersection with Via Plinio. Turn left onto Via Plinio and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via Nocera. Turn right onto Via Nocera and continue straight. After about 400 meters, you will see a bus stop on your left. From there, you can take the Sita bus towards Positano. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and it will drop you off in Positano near the beach. Once in Positano, walk towards P.za dei Mulini, which is a short 10-minute walk uphill from the beach area.
Bus
From Pompeii, make your way to the local bus station near the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance (Porta Marina). Look for the Sita bus that says 'Sorrento-Positano'. Purchase your ticket at the ticket booth or from the bus driver. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride along the Amalfi Coast. The bus will take you directly to Positano, and once you arrive, you can follow the signs to P.za dei Mulini, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Pompeii to Positano. Look for a taxi stand near the main entrance of the Pompeii Archaeological Park, or use a ride-hailing app if available. Inform the driver that you want to go to P.za dei Mulini in Positano. The journey may take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and will drop you off directly at or near your destination.
