Walking
From the Pompeii archaeological site entrance, head east on Via Plinio towards Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn left onto Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi and follow it for about 1.5 km. You will pass several shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the signs towards Piano di Sorrento. Once you reach the end of the street, you will see signs directing you to the train station. Follow the signs to the Piano di Sorrento train station.

From the Pompeii archaeological site, walk to the Pompeii Scavi - Villa dei Misteri train station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Once at the station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Piano di Sorrento station. Upon exiting the station, you will be in the center of Piano di Sorrento, where you can explore the area.

From the archaeological site entrance, walk to the closest bus stop on Via Plinio. Take the EAV bus that travels towards Sorrento. This bus will take you directly to Piano di Sorrento.
