Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, head south on Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Via Plinio. Turn left onto Via Plinio and walk for about 500 meters. This will lead you to the train station 'Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri'. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento and disembark at the 'Sorrento' station. Once in Sorrento, walk towards the port area and follow signs for Marina Grande. After a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at Piazza Angelo Ferraro.

    From the center of Pompeii, find the bus stop at Piazza Bartolo Longo. Take the EAV bus line towards Sorrento. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Marina Grande' stop. Once you disembark, walk straight towards the waterfront and you will see Piazza Angelo Ferraro within a few minutes.
