Walking
Start from the Pompeii archaeological site main entrance, which is located at Piazza Anfiteatro. Head straight down Via Villa dei Misteri, following the signs for the Pompei Scavi. Once you reach the main road, turn left onto Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the train station, Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples and get off at the Napoli Garibaldi station. Exit the station and follow signs to the Metro Line 1 towards Piscinola. After a few stops, get off at the Dante station. From there, walk towards Via Pignasecca, and you will find Piazza Pignasecca a short distance away.

From Pompeii, make your way to the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri train station. Purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples.
