From the center of Pompeii, head towards the Pompeii train station (Stazione di Pompei). Once you reach the station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Capri' stop. From the train station in Capri, head to the Marina Grande port. Here, you can catch a ferry to Capri. The ferry ride will take roughly 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Capri port, follow the signs towards the funicular railway which will take you to the town of Capri. After reaching the top, you can walk towards Via Tiberio where Villa Jovis is located. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the funicular station. Follow the signs to Villa Jovis and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
