Getting There

    If you are starting from the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, exit the park and head towards the main street, Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Once you reach the Corso, turn left and walk straight for about 300 meters. You will pass by various shops and eateries along the way. After about 5 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Via degli Augustali. Turn right onto Via degli Augustali, and continue walking for another 200 meters. The Macellum will be on your left, identified by its distinctive architectural structure.

    If you are coming from the Forum area, start at the Forum and exit towards Via di Mercurio. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via degli Augustali. Turn left onto Via degli Augustali and continue walking for about 200 meters. The Macellum will be on your right side, featuring its impressive ruins.

    If you find yourself near the Villa of the Mysteries, head back towards the main road (Via Villa dei Misteri). Turn left and walk towards the eastern entrance of the archaeological site. The Macellum will be on your left.
