Purchase a ticket at the ticket booth, and board the ferry heading to Ischia. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Ischia's main port, Marina di Ischia, you will need to transfer to local transportation.
Bus
After disembarking from the ferry at Marina di Ischia, follow the signs to the bus stop. Look for the bus labeled 'Fiaiano' or 'Castello Aragonese.' Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 30 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of Castello Aragonese.
Walking
Once you arrive at the bus stop near Castello Aragonese, you may need to walk a short distance. Follow the signs towards Castello Aragonese or ask locals for directions. The castle is situated on a rocky island connected to Ischia by a bridge. The walk should take around 10 minutes.
