Start from the center of Positano, specifically from the main beach area (Spiaggia Grande). Walk towards the main road, Via dei Mulini. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via Pasitea. Turn left onto Via Pasitea and follow it until you come to a series of steps that lead you down towards the harbor. At the harbor, look for the ferry terminal. Take a ferry from Positano to Pompei, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pompei harbor, follow the signs to the bus stop and take the bus to the town center of Pompei. The bus will drop you off close to Piazza Immacolata.

From the main bus station in Positano, located near the main beach, board the SITA bus heading towards Sorrento. Make sure to ask the driver for a ticket to Pompei. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the Pompei stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards the archaeological site, and you will find yourself at Piazza Immacolata, which is a short walk from the entrance.
