Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main square in Ravello (Piazza V. Veneto), head towards Via della Repubblica. Follow it until you reach the intersection with Via San Giovanni del Toro. Turn left onto Via San Giovanni del Toro and continue until you reach the edge of the town. Once you are at the viewpoint, look for the signs directing you to the path leading down towards the coast. The path is steep, so take your time. Continue descending until you reach Strada Statale Amalfitana (SS163). At this point, you will be near Maiori. Grotta Pandora is located on this road, so keep walking along the SS163 towards Maiori. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk from the viewpoint in Ravello.

    From Ravello, walk to the nearby bus stop at the entrance of the town. Take the bus (SITA) direction Maiori. The bus ride is approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Maiori - Via Nuova' and from there, walk towards the beach along the SS163. Grotta Pandora is located on the same road, a short distance from the bus stop, approximately a 10-minute walk.
