Walking
Start at the historic center of Ravenna, specifically at the Piazza del Popolo. From here, head east on Via di Roma until you reach Via S. Vitale. Turn left onto Via S. Vitale and continue straight until you reach the Basilica di San Vitale. From the Basilica, continue walking on Via S. Vitale until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn right onto Via Cavour and follow it until you reach the end at the junction with Viale L. Da Vinci. Cross Viale L. Da Vinci and continue straight on Via Marco Polo. Follow this road until you reach the train station, Stazione di Ravenna. From the station, take a train heading towards Forlì. Upon arrival at Forlì station, transfer to a local bus heading towards Castrocaro Terme. Alight at the stop closest to 'Via Felice Cavallotti'. From there, it’s a short walk to the Castle of the Artillery Captain located at Via Felice Cavallotti, 4.

Once you arrive at Forlì station, exit and look for the local bus service. You will want to catch a bus that goes to Castrocaro Terme. The bus ride should take around 20-30 minutes.
