From there, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers north along Via Garibaldi until you reach Via Pomposa Centro.
Train and Bus

From Ravenna, take a train from Ravenna train station to Ferrara. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Ferrara, transfer to bus number 80 towards Codigoro. After approximately 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the 'Codigoro' stop. Then, walk about 1.5 kilometers north along Via Garibaldi until you reach Via Pomposa Centro.
Bicycle

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Ravenna. Start from the city center and follow the bike paths towards Codigoro. The distance is about 20 kilometers, and it will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. As you approach Codigoro, follow signs to Via Pomposa Centro, which is located on the outskirts of town.
Walking

While it's quite a distance to walk from Ravenna to Pomposa Abbey, if you're up for it, you can make the journey on foot. Start from Piazza del Popolo and head east towards Via Garibaldi. Continue north until you reach Codigoro, which is about a 20-kilometer walk and will take approximately 4 hours. Once in Codigoro, follow the directions to Via Pomposa Centro.
