Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Basilica di San Vitale, head south on Via di Roma until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn left onto Via Cavour and continue walking straight for about 600 meters. You will see Porta Adriana, which is located at Via Camillo Benso Cavour, 48121 Ravenna RA, on your right.

    From the Ravenna Train Station, exit and head east on Viale Farini. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach Via di Roma. Turn left onto Via di Roma and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn right onto Via Cavour, and Porta Adriana will be on your right after about 300 meters.

    If you are near Piazza del Popolo, walk north on Via Giuseppe Garibaldi until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn left onto Via Cavour and walk straight for about 400 meters. Porta Adriana will be on your right, just after you pass by some local shops.

    From the Ravenna Train Station, you can take bus line 1 or 4 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Cavour' (approximately 5 minutes). After exiting the bus, walk straight for about 200 meters on Via Cavour. Porta Adriana will be on your right.
