Bus
From Rimini, head to the Rimini bus station (Stazione dei Bus). You can take the bus number 125, which travels towards Gabicce Mare. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Gradara' bus stop, exit the bus. From there, walk towards the center of Gradara, following the signs for 'Castello di Gradara'. It should take about 10 minutes on foot to reach the castle.
Train and Bus
Make your way to Rimini train station (Stazione di Rimini). Take a train towards Pesaro. Get off at the 'Gabicce Mare' station (approximately 20 minutes). From Gabicce Mare, exit the station and walk to the bus stop. Take the bus number 125 towards Gradara. After a short ride, alight at the 'Gradara' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Castello di Gradara.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Rimini and ride towards Gradara. Follow the cycle paths along the coast heading north. Once you reach Gabicce Mare, continue towards Gradara. The ride is roughly 12 kilometers and will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your cycling speed. When you arrive in Gradara, follow the signs to the Castello di Gradara.
Walking tour
For those who enjoy walking, a longer scenic route can be taken. Start from the Rimini city center and head towards the seaside promenade, walking north along the beach until you reach Gabicce Mare. From there, continue inland towards Gradara. This route covers about 15 kilometers and can take 3-4 hours depending on your pace. Enjoy the beautiful coastal views along the way, and once you reach Gradara, follow the signs to Castello di Gradara.
