If you are starting from the Colosseum, exit the Colosseum and head northwest on Via di San Giovanni in Laterano towards Via Labicana. After about 400 meters, turn right onto Via Labicana and continue until you reach Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere. From there, take the tram number 8 towards Viale Trastevere. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Venezia'. From the tram stop, walk north on Via del Corso, then take a left onto Via di San Marco. The Basilica of St Mark Evangelist will be on your left at Palazzo Venezia, Piazza di S. Marco, 48.

If you are near Termini Station, take Metro Line A (the orange line) towards Battistini. Get off at the third stop, 'Barberini'. From Barberini, exit the station and head towards Via del Tritone. Walk straight until you reach Piazza Barberini. From Piazza Barberini, continue walking along Via delle Quattro Fontane, then turn left onto Via della Consulta. Follow this street until it intersects with Via del Corso. Continue walking until you reach Piazza Venezia. Then, walk along Via di San Marco, and you will find the Basilica of St Mark Evangelist at Palazzo Venezia, Piazza di S. Marco, 48.
