Getting There

  • Metro

    Start by taking the Metro Line B (Blue Line) from any station in Rome. If you're near the Colosseum, board the train at the 'Colosseo' station and head towards 'Laurentina'. After two stops, get off at 'Termini' station. Once at Termini, transfer to Metro Line A (Orange Line) and head towards 'Battistini'. Get off at the 'Barberini' station. From Barberini, exit the station and walk towards Via del Tritone.

    From Via del Tritone, walk straight until you reach Piazza Barberini. Continue straight onto Via delle Quattro Fontane, then take a right onto Via del Quirinale. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via Nazionale. Turn left onto Via Nazionale and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via IV Novembre, where you will see the entrance to Piazza Foro Traiano on your right.

  • Bus

    If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch bus number 70 or 81 from various locations in Rome. If you are near the Colosseum, take bus 87 towards 'Leone IV' and get off at the 'Piazza Venezia' stop. From Piazza Venezia, walk towards Via IV Novembre and continue straight until you see the entrance to Piazza Foro Traiano.

    You can also take Tram Line 8 from the Trastevere area. Board the tram at 'Piazza Sonnino' and travel towards 'F. Caracciolo'. Get off at the 'Argentina' stop.
