If you are near the Trevi Fountain, start by heading southwest on Via delle Muratte towards Piazza di Trevi. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach Piazza Barberini. Here, you will find the Barberini Metro Station (Line A). Take the metro towards Anagnina and get off at the next stop, which is Repubblica. From there, exit the metro station and walk along Via Nazionale towards Via del Viminale. Continue walking straight until you reach Via del Tritone. Turn right and then take the first left onto Vicolo del Puttarello. The entrance to Vicus Caprarius - The Water City will be on your right.
