Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to the Cathedral of Lecce, use the GPS coordinates 40.3516929, 18.1692173. From any location in Salento, head towards Lecce. Once you arrive in Lecce, follow signs for the city center (Centro Storico). There is limited parking available near the cathedral. You can park at the 'Parking Piazza Mazzini' or the 'Parking Via Duca degli Abruzzi' which are within a 10-15 minute walk from the cathedral. Be aware that parking may incur costs, typically around €1-2 per hour.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  For those traveling by train, take a regional train to Lecce from various towns in Salento, such as Gallipoli or Otranto. The main train station in Lecce is 'Stazione di Lecce'. From the train station, it's about a 20-minute walk to the Cathedral of Lecce. Exit the station, turn left onto Viale Gallipoli, then continue straight until you reach the city center. Follow signs to 'P.za del Duomo' where the cathedral is located. Alternatively, you can take a local bus (line 1) from the train station to the city center.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you are in a nearby town and prefer taking a bus, look for services from the local bus companies such as 'Sita Sud' or 'FSE'. Buses run frequently to Lecce from towns like Gallipoli, Otranto, and Brindisi. Upon arriving at the Lecce bus station, which is about 1 km from the cathedral, you can walk or take a short taxi ride to 'P.za del Duomo'. Walking will take approximately 15 minutes.

  If you are staying in the historical center of Lecce, the Cathedral is easily accessible by foot. From the main square 'Piazza Sant'Oronzo', walk towards 'Via Federico d'Aragona', then continue to 'P.za del Duomo'. The walk should take around 10 minutes, and you will enjoy the beautiful architecture along the way.
