Walking
From the center of San Gimignano, start at Piazza della Cisterna. Head south on Via San Giovanni, continuing straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Castello. Turn left onto Via del Castello and continue walking until you reach the end of the road. From there, follow the signs for bus station. You will find the bus stop for the Firenze-Siena line. Take the bus towards Greve in Chianti and enjoy the scenic views. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop labeled 'Greve in Chianti'. Once you get off, walk towards Via Castello di Verrazzano, which is just a short distance away, and you will arrive at Castello di Verrazzano.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in San Gimignano. Start from Piazza della Cisterna and head east on Via San Giovanni. Continue straight, then turn left onto Via del Castello. Follow this road as it gently descends. You will cycle through beautiful landscapes and vineyards.
