Walking
From the main square, Piazza della Cisterna, head south towards Via San Giovanni. Once you reach Via San Giovanni, turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via delle Fonti. Take a right onto Via delle Fonti and keep walking straight. You will eventually come to the Porta San Giovanni, which is the main entrance to San Gimignano. After passing through the gate, continue straight until you reach Piazza San Remigio, where you will find the Chiesa di San Remigio.

If you are starting from the Collegiata di San Gimignano, exit the church and head towards Via San Giovanni. Turn left and walk down the street until you reach the intersection with Via delle Fonti. Turn right onto Via delle Fonti and proceed straight to the Porta San Giovanni. After entering the gate, continue straight to Piazza San Remigio.
