Walking
From the central Piazza della Cisterna in San Gimignano, head southeast towards Via San Giovanni. Continue straight onto Via San Giovanni, which turns into Via della Libertà. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Via Vecchia. Follow this road until you reach the bus stop 'San Gimignano - Porta San Giovanni'. Here, you can catch a bus to Florence. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Florence, head towards the Piazza della Repubblica, then continue to Via Roma. From there, you will find Via degli Strozzi, and eventually reach Piazza del Grano, which is a few minutes walk from Via Roma.
Bus
From the central bus station in San Gimignano, take the bus to Florence (Firenze). The buses are frequent, but it’s good to check the local schedule. When you arrive in Florence, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, walk towards the city center, following signs to Piazza della Repubblica. Continue straight until you reach Via Roma, then turn left onto Via degli Strozzi. After a short walk, you will arrive at Piazza del Grano, which is located nearby.
