Walking
From the center of San Gimignano, head towards the main piazza, Piazza della Cisterna. Once you reach the piazza, take the main road that leads out of the town, Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the bus station, located next to the main road. Here, you will catch a bus to Florence. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure to Florence. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride through the Tuscan countryside.
Bus
After reaching the bus station in San Gimignano, board the bus heading to Florence. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Sit back and relax as you travel through the beautiful hills of Tuscany. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Florence, Santa Maria Novella, exit the bus and head towards the train station entrance.
Walking
From Santa Maria Novella bus station, walk towards Via Nazionale, a main street that leads directly into the city center. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. From there, turn right onto Via Roma, and then take a left onto Via della Vigna Nuova. Continue walking for a few blocks until you reach your destination at Via della Vigna Nuova, 18, Rucellai Palace.
