Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the famous Ponte Vecchio, head east towards the Uffizi Gallery. Once you reach the gallery, continue walking straight along the Via della Ninna for about 300 meters. You will come to a large intersection where you will see a beautiful church on your left. Turn right onto Via delle Terme, and after a short walk, you will find Piazza Santa Trinita on your right, just before you reach the Arno River.

    From the Santa Maria Novella train station, take bus line 11 or 17 from the bus stop located right outside the station. Ride the bus for about 5 stops and get off at the 'Piazza Santa Trinita' stop. From there, you will see the square directly ahead. It’s a short walk to the main attractions in the area.

    If you're coming from the Basilica di Santa Croce, head northwest on Via de' Benci. Continue straight until you reach Piazza dei Ciompi. Turn left onto Via dell'Anguillara and follow this road straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Ninna. Turn right and keep walking until you arrive at Piazza Santa Trinita.
