From the central Piazza della Cisterna, head east along Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Madonna. Turn left onto Via della Madonna, and walk for about 200 meters. You will find Piazza Carlo Goldoni on your right. It's a small square, so keep an eye out for it as you approach.

If you are starting from the San Gimignano Gate (Porta San Giovanni), exit the gate and head towards the main road (Via San Giovanni). Turn right and walk straight for approximately 500 meters. You will then reach the junction with Via della Madonna. Turn left on Via della Madonna, and after a short walk, Piazza Carlo Goldoni will be on your right.
