Walking
From the central square of San Gimignano, Piazza della Cisterna, head southwest towards Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Salvucci. Turn left onto Via Salvucci and walk until you reach the end of the street. At the next intersection, turn right onto Via San Matteo. Follow this road as it curves right and becomes Via delle Romite. Continue straight until you reach the main road leading out of San Gimignano. Cross the road and follow the signs for the bus stop. Take the bus towards Florence, which will drop you off at the Santa Maria Novella train station. From there, you can catch a train to Florence and get off at the stop for the city center. Once in Florence, you can walk to the Stefano Bardini Museum located at Via dei Renai, 37.

Start at the main bus station in San Gimignano, located near Piazza della Cisterna. Look for the bus heading to Florence. The bus frequency is roughly every hour. Once you board, enjoy the scenic ride as it takes you directly to the bus terminal in Florence. Upon arrival in Florence, follow the signs to the city center and make your way to the nearest tram or bus stop. Take the tram to the stop named 'Piazza Beccaria', then walk to Via dei Renai.
