From there, head towards the Torre Grossa, the tallest tower which is also a prominent landmark. Walk straight towards the Torre Grossa and continue on this path until you reach the Piazza del Duomo, which is the main square where the Comune di San Gimignano is located. The Comune is situated at Piazza Duomo, 2, a short walk from the square.

Public Transport
Although San Gimignano is a small town and most places are within walking distance, you can take a local bus from nearby towns like Certaldo or Poggibonsi, which have bus connections to San Gimignano. Once you arrive at the San Gimignano bus station, which is located just outside the old town walls, exit the station and walk towards the main entrance of the medieval town. Continue straight along Via San Giovanni until you reach Piazza della Cisterna, then follow the previous walking instructions to reach Comune di San Gimignano.
