Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Sannio. Head towards the SS88 road and follow the signs for Benevento. Once you reach Benevento, follow the signs to 'Centro' (City Center). As you approach the city, you will see signs for 'Piazza Castello'. Park in the nearby parking areas such as Parcheggio Stadio or Parcheggio Centro, both of which are within walking distance of the castle. Once parked, walk towards Piazza Castello, and the Rocca dei Rettori will be clearly visible.
Public Transportation
To get to Rocca dei Rettori using public transportation, take a local bus from Sannio to Benevento. Ensure you check the local bus schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at the Benevento bus station, exit and head towards the city center by following signs that lead to 'Piazza Castello'. It’s a short 10-15 minute walk from the bus station to the castle. You’ll find the Rocca dei Rettori in the heart of the square.
