Car
From Sestriere, head south on the SS24 road towards Cesana Torinese. Continue on SS24 for approximately 17 km until you reach the intersection with the D1T road. Turn left onto D1T and follow it for about 10 km. You will enter Névache, France. The destination, the former border marker, will be along this road. Parking may be available nearby, but be cautious of any parking regulations.

Start at the Sestriere bus station. Take the bus towards Cesana Torinese (make sure to check the schedule as service may vary). Once you arrive in Cesana Torinese, transfer to a bus heading to Névache. The journey may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on connections. Be sure to confirm the bus stops as the former border landmark is not directly serviced by public transport; you may need to walk a short distance along D1T from the nearest bus stop.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from the center of Sestriere and follow the SS24 road south. This is a long trek of about 27 km and would take several hours. It's advisable to prepare for a full day's hike and to carry sufficient water and snacks. Follow the road signs towards Cesana Torinese and then continue towards Névache. Always stay safe and alert while walking along the roads.
