Walking
Start from the center of Siena, near the Piazza del Campo. Head southeast on Via di Città towards Piazza del Mercato. Continue straight onto Via dei Rossi, which will lead you out of the historic center. After about a 15-20 minute walk, you will reach the intersection with Via di San Marco. Turn left onto Via di San Marco and follow it until you reach the SP14 road. Turn right onto SP14 and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Poggio alle Mura. Once you see the sign for Castello di Banfi, follow the road which will lead you directly to the winery. The total walking distance is approximately 3 kilometers from the center of Siena.

From the center of Siena, head to the Siena bus station located near the Piazza Gramsci. Take the bus number 130 towards Montalcino. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and you will need to get off at the Poggio alle Mura stop. After exiting the bus, walk about 500 meters along Via di Castello, and you will arrive at Castello di Banfi. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as the frequency may vary.

If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from the center of Siena. Taxis are readily available near Piazza del Campo or can be booked via your hotel.
