From Piazza del Campo, head northwest toward Via di Città. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left onto Viale Vittorio Emanuele II, and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass the beautiful gardens of La Lizza. Continue walking until you see the Fortezza Medicea on your right at Piazza Caduti delle Forze Armate.
