    From Piazza del Campo, head northwest toward Via di Città. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left onto Viale Vittorio Emanuele II, and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass the beautiful gardens of La Lizza. Continue walking until you see the Fortezza Medicea on your right at Piazza Caduti delle Forze Armate.

    If you are near the Siena train station, take bus number 3 or 10 towards 'Piazza Gramsci'. Get off at the 'Piazza Gramsci' stop. From there, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Città, then turn right. Continue straight until you reach Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left and walk for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the Fortezza Medicea on your right.
