From the center of Siena, start at Piazza del Campo, the main square. Head northwest on Via di Città until you reach the intersection with Via Banchi di Sopra. Turn left onto Via Banchi di Sopra and continue straight until you arrive at the Basilica di San Domenico. From there, follow the signs to the bus station (Stazione dei Bus). Take bus line 131 or 132 towards Florence. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Florence, get off at the stop for Piazzale Michelangelo, which is well-marked. The viewpoint is just a short walk from the bus stop.
