Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the famous Piazza della Signoria, exit the square towards the Uffizi Gallery. Walk along the Arno River on the Lungarno degli Archibusieri. Continue walking along the river until you reach the Ponte alle Grazie bridge. Cross the bridge, and once you are on the other side, turn right to follow the riverbank. Continue walking eastward along the Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia. After a short distance, take the first left onto Via dei Bardi. Follow this street straight until you reach the intersection with Viale Michelangelo. Here, turn left and walk uphill. You will eventually reach the entrance to the gardens and the panoramic viewpoint. Continue walking, and you will see Porta San Niccolò on your left.

    From Santa Maria Novella train station, head to the bus stop located just outside the station. Take Bus Line 12 or 13 towards 'Fiesole'.
