Public Bus
From the center of Siena, head to the 'Piazza Gramsci' bus station. Take the bus heading to Arezzo (look for the bus number that specifies Arezzo). The journey will take around 1 hour and drops you off at Arezzo's main bus terminal. From there, you can take a local bus toward 'Ponte Buriano' or opt for a taxi, which is a short ride away.
Walking
If you are adventurous and up for a longer trek, you could walk to Arezzo from Siena. The path is scenic and takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on your pace. Follow the Via Cassia (SS2) heading directly towards Arezzo. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the distance is significant.
Train
Head to the Siena train station, which is located a short walk from the city center. Purchase a ticket for a train to Arezzo. The train ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Arezzo, exit the train station and take a local bus or taxi to Ponte Buriano, which is approximately a 15-20 minute drive from the station.
