Getting There

    If you are starting from the Sorrento train station, exit the station and head towards Corso Italia. Turn left onto Corso Italia and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Piazza Tasso. From the piazza, continue walking straight along Via San Cesareo until you reach the intersection with Via S. Michele. Turn right onto Via S. Michele and walk for about 1 kilometer. The Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel will be on your left at Via S. Michele, 55.

    If you are in the main tourist area near Marina Piccola, head towards the main street, Via Marina Grande, and walk until you reach Corso Italia. Turn right on Corso Italia and walk for about 800 meters until you reach Piazza Tasso. From there, follow the previous directions by walking along Via San Cesareo and then turning right onto Via S. Michele until you find the basilica at Via S. Michele, 55.

    From the Sorrento Cathedral (Cattedrale di Sorrento), exit the cathedral and walk towards Via San Cesareo. Continue on Via San Cesareo until you reach the intersection with Corso Italia. Cross the street and turn left onto Corso Italia. Walk for about 100 meters to Piazza Tasso. From there, follow the earlier instructions to reach the Basilica by heading down Via San Cesareo and turning onto Via S. Michele.
