From Sorrento, head to the Sorrento Train Station located near the Piazza Tasso. Purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train to Naples. Board the train heading towards Naples and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Napoli Garibaldi station. Once you arrive, follow the signs to transfer to the Metro Line 2. Take the Metro towards Pozzuoli and get off at the Pozzuoli station. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the Phlegraean Fields.

Start at the Sorrento Bus Station, which is located next to the Train Station. Look for the EAV bus line that goes to Pozzuoli. Purchase your ticket from the ticket machine or the bus driver. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Get off at the main bus stop in Pozzuoli. From there, you can walk for about 25 minutes to reach the Phlegraean Fields. Follow the signs towards the park; it's a lovely walk.
