Walking
From the center of Pompeii, head east on Via Plinio towards Via Roma. Continue on Via Roma until you reach the intersection with Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Turn left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini and continue straight until you reach the main bus station, Stazione di Pompei. From there, take the bus to Pozzuoli. Once you arrive in Pozzuoli, head towards the Phlegraean Fields by following signs or asking locals for directions.
Public Transport (Train)
From Pompeii, walk to the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri train station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the archaeological site. Board a train headed towards Napoli Centrale. At Napoli Centrale, transfer to the Metro Line 2 towards Pozzuoli. Get off at the Pozzuoli stop. From the train station, it’s a short walk to the Phlegraean Fields, just follow the signs or ask for directions.
Bus
At the Pompeii bus station (Stazione di Pompei), take a bus that is heading towards Pozzuoli. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive in Pozzuoli, follow local signs to Phlegraean Fields, or ask for assistance if needed.
