Board the train heading towards Naples. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Napoli Garibaldi station, follow the signs to the Metro Line 1. Take the Metro towards Piscinola and get off at the 'Dante' stop. From there, exit the station and head to Via Toledo. Continue walking until you reach Piazza Mercato, which is a vibrant square known for its local market.
Bus
From the center of Sorrento, locate the bus stop at Piazza Tasso. Take the EAV bus heading to Naples. The bus ride will take about 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Naples, ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Piazza Mercato, or look for signs directing you to the square. After disembarking, walk towards the square, which should be a short distance away.
