Walking
If you are in central Sorrento, start at the Piazza Tasso, which is the main square of Sorrento. From there, walk towards Via San Cesareo and continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Sorrento train station (Stazione di Sorrento). At the train station, purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train to Naples/Pompei. Get off at the stop called 'Vico Equense' (approximately 20 minutes journey). After exiting the train, look for the bus stop outside the station. Take the Sita bus towards Ravello. The bus journey will take around 40 minutes, and you will get off at the Ravello stop. From there, follow the signs to the center of Ravello, which is just a short 10-minute walk uphill.

From Sorrento, head to the Sorrento bus station located near the main train station. Look for the Sita buses that go to Amalfi. Purchase a ticket to Ravello directly from the ticket booth. The bus ride will take about 50 minutes as it winds along the scenic coastal road. Make sure to inform the bus driver or check the route on the bus display to ensure Ravello is one of the stops. Once you arrive in Ravello, follow the signs to the town center, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Sorrento to Ravello. You can find taxis near Piazza Tasso or at the train station. Make sure to agree on a fare beforehand, as the ride can be more expensive than public transport. The journey will take around 30 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way. The taxi will drop you off in the center of Ravello, making it easy to start exploring.
