If you are starting from the Corso Umberto, the main street of Taormina, head east towards Piazza IX Aprile. From the piazza, take the stairs leading down to Via di Giovanni. Follow this street until you reach a fork; take the left path which will lead you to Via Santa Caterina. Continue down Via Santa Caterina until you see the Church of Saint Catherine of Alexandria on your left. The church's beautiful facade will be hard to miss.

From the Taormina Cable Car station, exit and walk towards the main road, Corso Umberto. Turn right and walk along the Corso until you reach Piazza IX Aprile. From there, take the stairs down to Via di Giovanni, then follow the same route as mentioned above on Via Santa Caterina to reach the church.
