Getting There

Walking
From the main square of Taormina (Piazza IX Aprile), head southwest down Corso Umberto. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Teatro Greco. Turn left onto Via Teatro Greco and follow this road until you reach the entrance of the Ancient Theatre of Taormina. From here, continue straight on Via Teatro Greco, which will eventually lead you to Viale dei Giardini. Follow Viale dei Giardini, which turns into Via Nazionale. At the junction, turn right and continue walking until you reach the bus terminal. Take the AST bus towards Linguaglossa. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Linguaglossa - Piazza Annunziata'. From the bus stop, walk along the street until you reach Piazza Annunziata, where Museo Regionale Francesco Messina is located.

Public Transport
Starting from Taormina, make your way to the Taormina-Giardini train station. You can walk there from the center of Taormina, which takes about 20 minutes. Once at the station, board a train heading towards Catania. After a 30-minute ride, get off at the Giarre-Riposto station. From there, transfer to the AST bus towards Linguaglossa. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Linguaglossa - Piazza Annunziata', walk to Museo Regionale Francesco Messina, which is located at Piazza Annunziata, 9.
