From the central area of Taormina, start at the Piazza IX Aprile, which is a popular square with a great view of the coast. Head down Via Teatro Greco, passing the Greek Theatre on your left. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road, and veer left onto Via Circonvallazione. Follow this road for about 300 meters, and you will see Badia Vecchia on your right at Via Circonvallazione, 30. Look for the entrance marked with a sign.

If you are near Taormina's bus station (Stazione degli Autobus), take a local bus heading towards the town center. Get off at the stop closest to the Piazza IX Aprile. From there, follow the walking directions above to reach Badia Vecchia. If you're not at the bus station, you can walk to it or take a short taxi ride to the station.
