If you are starting from the Taormina Cable Car Station, exit the station and head towards Via Luigi Pirandello. Turn right onto Via Luigi Pirandello and continue walking until you reach Corso Umberto I, the main street in Taormina. Once you reach Corso Umberto I, turn left and walk straight. After about 500 meters, you will see Piazza IX Aprile on your right, just a short distance past the Church of San Giuseppe.

From the Ancient Theatre of Taormina, exit the theatre and head down the steps towards Via del Teatro Greco. At the bottom, turn left onto Corso Umberto I. Walk along this street for approximately 700 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. Piazza IX Aprile will be on your left, just after the intersection with Via di Giovanni.
