Getting There

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading to the town of Tremosine sul Garda, located in the Province of Brescia. From the A22 motorway, take the exit for Rovereto Sud and follow signs for Riva del Garda. Continue on SS240, which will lead you towards the lake. As you get closer to Tremosine, look for signs directing you to Strada della Forra. The road leading to Strada della Forra is located at Via Benaco, 25010 Tremosine sul Garda BS. Parking is available near the start of the scenic road, but be aware that it can get busy, especially in peak tourist season.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start your journey by taking a train to Desenzano del Garda or Rovereto. From Desenzano del Garda, take a bus operated by Navigazione Laghi to Riva del Garda. Once in Riva del Garda, switch to a local bus service (line 15) that heads to Tremosine sul Garda. Make sure to check the local bus schedule ahead of time as services can vary. Upon arrival in Tremosine, follow the signs to Strada della Forra, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Be prepared for a hilly walk, and wear comfortable shoes.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Riva del Garda. From there, you can take the scenic route along the lake towards Tremosine. The cycling path is well marked and offers breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The distance is about 12 kilometers, and it should take roughly 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Tremosine, follow the signs to Strada della Forra. Make sure to bring water and snacks, as there are limited facilities along the way.
